Keuring 2003: Part 2
Cori for studbook, star

When Coriander came out of the ring, we knew she had given 100% and could not have performed any better. When the inspectors announced that she was a 1st premie star, we nearly burst with joy for Cori and her mom Hiltje. You could not have ordered a more perfect day.

A special thanks to everyone who has helped Cori become the special mare she is today.

Cori gets a congratulations kiss

Cori was the fourth mare to go and we were all pretty nervous. She had quite the cheering section there - even her trainer from the summer (Nancy Troutman, owner of Meadow Wood Stables. Nancy broke Cori to ride and drive over the summer) drove to Lexington just to see Cori. Cori was as ready as she could ever be - trim and in shape. Shiny as black satin and peppy from her oats....
Black and shiny, ready to go Trotting out Augie takes Cori around Augie and Cori again
