- Mark colt born spring 2012, full papered out of Dahlia (see below). Mark
was named 2nd premie and reserve champion colt at the 2012
inspection. Mark will be excellent in harness or saddleseat one day. He has a big trot and tons of presence and brashness. He will not be very tall. Father is Mintse 384, Mother's father is Thomas 327. Some pictures here
and video here
Price $6,000
- SOLD: Marten Many folks have asked about sweet Marten, our Fridse foal out of the mare Tara (see below). Marten has been sold and heads to his new home after weaning in December
Geldings
- Beau Beau is a very big and very sweet gelding born spring 2008. He has about 90 days
under saddle at a trainer and that was a year ago. He is a star gelding, full
brother to my 1st premie star mare Cori (see below). Definitely a riding type
horse and is a big boy - close to 17 hands. Very sweet but very green. I have been getting a lot of inquiries about him so we are starting to work him so I can get a video Beau being ridden. Beau was conceived, born, raised and loved
right here on our farm. We have an entire set of photos which span the time from the day he was born through to his keuring performance. I can tell you all about him. Good boy. No
vices. I want to see him loved and utilized. Beau's sire is Wander 352 and mother's sire is Lute 304.
Grandmother's sire is Lammert 260 Preferent.
Price $12,000
- Tyler A well trained, seasoned gelding born 1998. Tyler has been trained under saddle and in harness. He is very calm, cooperative and well mannered. We have an old video from 2004 of Tyler in saddleseat More recently he has just been in the pasture taking care of the babies. He is full brother to the approved stallion Pilgrim 336 and is just a good example of an old style Friesian.
Price $10,000
Fillies and Mares (all prices firm)
- Jesca: A two year old filly (born spring 2011). By the famous Beart 411 and out of my foundation broodmare
Coriander (Cori is a 1st premie ster). There is only one hole in the
papers back to 1920. Stam 25 - outstanding mare line. This filly was
conceived via frozen semen and she will be very tall and fine, and
intended for dressage. Beart offspring are fantastic in dressage, as
you may know. They are the best dressage lines at the moment and for
Jesca, this is what I bred for. She will probably mature to 16.2
easily. She is already 15.1. She is a good girl and will make an
excellent competition horse for an experienced person. She will NOT
make a good pet. She wants to work, not play and needs an experienced
horse person to teach her. I have a video
from this spring that just shows the handling I do with her every day. This filly gets nicer and nicer every day.

Price $13,000
- SOLD: Freya: A three year old who went to the keuring yesterday. She was
3rd premie (second in her class), but she is really star material and
should go back when she matures more. I have some very recent videos
of her on youtube, with commentary. Her sire is Heinse 354 - a great
stallion who died much too young. This is his last filly. It is VERY
difficult to find a Heinse foal. Her mom is also Coriander (Jesca's
mom), my 1st premie ster mare. Freya is gorgeous and incredibly sweet
like her daddy. But with "go" like her momma! She has been started
under saddle and had some harness work. Very green though. I recommend
riding her rather than carriage. She really likes being ridden and is
good at it; not crazy about harness work. Excellent dressage candidate
with some work. Also stam 25 and could make a wonderful broodmare as
well, or pet/trail horse due to her sweet nature. Remember though she
is only 3 and will be a little jumpy until she matures. I will say
there is another person who is highly interested in buying Freya, but
we have not yet stuck a deal. Freya is on the small side at 15.2 and
will probably mature to 15.3 or so. If you look at my youtube channel
you will see a number of very recent videos of her. Here is just one
example - video
SOLD
I have 3 proven broodmares. I do not show them as they are primarily
breeding stock. They are all trained to some degree, but require a bit
of work before going into the show ring. These are:
- Tara (star) A 7 year old (born 2006) from stam 102. Full papered 2nd premie
ster mare. Tara is from a more baroque background and is short and
stocky. Started in harness and likes it. She is at the trainer now, where she has been for over 60 day, getting started under saddle. I will have someone trail riding her this month (May '13). Her father is Wander
352 and her mother's father was Thomas 327. Tara is sweet and good to
have around. Easy to do anything you want with her. She just had her
first baby this past spring (Marten is his name), a *wonderful* foal
by Fridse 423. Very big foal, sweet as they come. He is sold. But
anyway, you can do almost anything you wish with Tara, and she will
make a nice broodmare too. Here is a video of her as a 3 year old.
Price $16,500.
- Dahlia (star) This is Tara's mom. Stam 102, born 2001.
Short and stocky as well. Superb driving horse, though rusty. She has
had 3 foals, the last one is Mark, born this past spring. Sweet mare,
good to work with. Good breeder with nice foals. But needs to breed to
height. She has been started under saddle, but harness is her true
love. I have numerous videos on youtube. Father Thomas 327, mother's
father Tsjerk 328. Here is a video from a few years ago.
Price: $15,000
- Coriander (star) This is my 1st premie ster foundation mare, born 2000. Stam 25. Father Wander 352, mother's father Lute 304.
She is a superb broodmare, and has had 4 foals. My alpha mare. Good
under saddle (just trail riding now). Smart, sweet, superb work ethic.
This is an all around wonderful broodmare. Numerous videos on my
youtube channel.
Price $20,000.
None of the adult mares are pregnant. We did not breed this year due
to the economy.
