Dahlia was our second foal born right here at Tanbark Acres.
Her mom is Matsje (1st premie star),
a terrific mare by the famous stallion Tsjerk and model
mare Wilmaa B. - reknown in Friesland
for the
quality of her offspring. Dahlia's sire is the powerful
and popular stallion Thomas,
known for his lovely gait and superb temperament. Her
papers are extraordinary: S-MP-MP-SP. Her mother would
likely have become preferent as well, but unfortunately
died at a young age due to foaling complications.
Dahlia has a trot that will take your breath away. This
movement, combined with a fearless, confident and eager
temperament, has made her an outstanding carriage horse.
Her fantastic natural movement garnered a coveted 2nd
premie star rating at her keuring in September
2004. When Dahlia comes into a ring she takes on an
air of confidence and showmanship that is exciting
